Taya is a human knight who ended up too far West, in the realms of elves. Her main weapon is a sharp, multi-purpose spade, along with a round brass shield. If things get too ugly, she has an emergency flintlock pistol cached. Ammunition is precious, though.

Easygoing and impulsive, Taya always ends up finding trouble. The blonde adventurer's overconfidence is a nice complement to Nármir's lack of it. She is generally the one to kickstart problems and Nármir coordinates the party so they don't get killed.

Taya means "wheat field", a common given name among humans. "Rómendil" is what Nármir called Taya when they first met, meaning "friend from the East". To Taya's dismay, all three names, that is, Rómendil, Unúriel and Nármir, have rolled Rs she's incapable of producing, so she sticks to the human language nicknames.
